Interest in video games is essential, as you will be required to write about the games that you know.
Ideally you will have achieved an A-C in National 5 English, History, Modern Studies or RMPS, as you will be required to critically analyse and evaluate Computer Games.
A creative mind and a desired to express yourself through game design are essential.
Some knowledge of Computer Programming, as a minimum you should have achieved an A-C in National 5 Computing Science. Ideally you will have achieved an A-C in Higher Computing Science or are working towards this along this NPA Computer Games Development.
Is there is an Exam?
No, there is not exam.
Through the year you will be required to complete a number of assessed tasks, this includes review computer games, developing game design documents, produce game assets and creaitng a game prototype.
