What will I Learn?

Is there is an Exam?
There is no formal assessment in S3 but your teacher will assess the work you produce throughout the year. This will give you a clear idea of how you are progressing.

In S4, you can either take National 4 or National 5 German, depending on progress in S1-S3.
Where can this take me?
This course can lead to National 5 Higher and Advanced Higher German.
There are many careers in which an additional language is a significant advantage.

Is there is an Exam?
No. Your Reading, Writing, Listening and Talking skills are assessed in two main units:
Reading and Listening are assessed in the Understanding Language unit
Talking and Writing skills are assessed in the Using Language unit
You will also complete an assignment. You teacher will assess your work internally.

A pass in National 4 German can lead to National 5 German.
