Team Setup:
Divide the players into two teams.
Teams will have two captains who engage in a Rock, Paper, Scissors match to determine possession. The winning captain decides if their team will defend or receive.
Starting Position:
Both teams start positioned under their respective basketball hoops.
The defending team initiates play by throwing the football to the receiving team.
Gameplay:
The receiving team can pick up the football or catch it without turnovers at the start.
To advance the football towards the opponent's basket, players can only throw it to a teammate who must catch it and come to a complete stop, similar to Ultimate Frisbee.
If the football is dropped during a throw or pass, possession goes to the defending team from the spot where the drop occurred.
Points are scored when the football passes through the basketball hoop.
Scoring:
A successful shot from outside the three-point line is worth 3 points.
A successful shot from inside the three-point line is worth 2 points.
Free throws, taken from the free-throw line, are worth 1 point each.
Game Duration:
Play the game in quarters (like basketball) with each quarter lasting 5 minutes.
Alternatively, play two halves of 10 minutes each, switching baskets at halftime.
Winning the Game:
The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Defensive Rules:
Defensive players are not allowed to hit the ball out of an offensive player's hand.
The defense can only attempt to swat the ball out of the air after it has been thrown by an offensive player.
Defensive players can guard offensive players within a 1-2 feet distance, similar to Ultimate Frisbee rules.
