H.H. Dow High's German Club News
Congratulations to all of the writers and contributors of The Waffle, a journal by Dow High’s very own German Club! The Waffle is a journal that was founded at the beginning of this school year. German Club members Lillian Blohm, Madeline Cha, Zechariah Crumb, Caden Cummings, Owen DeLong, Eleanor Hughes, Claire Humburg, Zachary Keinath, Katherine Potts, Naomi Wager, and Annabelle Wilken teamed up together this year to cover various captivating and interest-arousing topics about German culture such as Germany’s Black Forest (Schwarzwald), the HARIBO Candy Company, King Ludwig II of Bavaria, and Rainy glazed Christmas Days that usher a refreshing, fresh kind of beauty to the holiday season in Germany.
German Club released their last edition of the 2021-2022 school year last week named Roots to symbolize the origins and history of modern music, the endearing yet legendary Easter Bunny, and lastly, some of the most influential composers of Germany’s rich impact on the beginnings of the world of classical music.
