The MHS MLK Day Lend a Hand and Give a Can drive is TODAY (1/17) from 3-6 pm at Midland High
Please bring non-perishable food items, dry pet foods, personal care items, local grocery gift cards, etc.
that will be given to Chemic families and community members who could use a helping hand.
This food drive is sponsored by the Midland High Student Council.
Congratulations to Melissa Grunder, Siebert Elementary Teacher, named a 2022 STEM Star by SVSU!
The STEM Star is awarded by SVSU to honor the hard work, dedication and contributions made to STEM education by educators from Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gratiot, Midland, and Saginaw counties.
Ms. Grunder will be recognized for her accomplishments and receive her award at the annual STEM Teacher Dinner held at SVSU in February. In addition to this recognition for her dedication and passion for STEM, Ms. Grunder will receive a $250 grant award to advance STEM education in her classroom..

School safety experts say anonymous tiplines are among the most effective tools for preventing school violence, including mass shootings like the one that took four lives and injured seven last month at Oxford High School. 4-DAY WEEKEND FOR STUDENTS IN FEBRUARY
In order to assist in keeping our students in face-to-face learning, MPS students will have a four-day weekend to allow for deep cleaning of our schools -- NO SCHOOL -- FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18 & MONDAY, FEBRUARY 21
