- Her last name might look like "Muh-Kay," but it is "Mack-EE"
- Her 2 older sisters are the reason she joined band in 7th grade
- She has 3 nieces & 3 nephews
- She has 2 cats - Izzy & Ollie, and a beagle - Otto
- She began her band career at Alamo Junior High and was an Honors student & multiple sport athlete throughout her time in MISD...she knows from experience that you CAN do it all! :)
Mr. Muñoz
(Assistant Band Director)
Mr. Muñoz will be our new Assistant Band Director starting in August of 2026! He is coming to us from Ector Middle School in Odessa, and has a versatile set of skills from his previous positions in elementary music and managing symphony orchestras!

Legacy High School Staff
The LHS Band Directors "team teach" at Alamo and will periodically be in the band hall during our classes as well as in attendance at our concerts. Your students will get to know them throughout their time in the Alamo Scout Band in preparation for the Mighty Rebel Band as freshmen!
