Library Location: The library is located to the right of the front entrance and office, past the 6th grade block, and across the hall from Sra. Zuluaga's classroom. Look for the University of Chicago door.
The mission of the library is to help students and staff become effective users of information and ideas, provide reading materials for learning and pleasure, and to instill in our patrons a desire for lifelong learning.
My vision for our library is for it to achieve its full potential as part of our communication and technology campus. Our collection will reflect the interests of our students, as well as aid the professional development of our teachers and staff. Our online databases will be easily accessible and utilized to promote and engage learning alongside and outside the classroom. Above all, my goal is to promote a diverse, inclusive, collaborative, and safe space for all our students.
Mrs. Cozart has worked in public and academic libraries. Her passion is helping students find the perfect book that will make them lifelong readers. She graduated from UNT in 2019 with a Master's of Science in Library Sciences and a Youth Services certification. She will be starting school again in January for another certification. She is terrible at taking pictures but great at using her Bitmoji. Some of her favorite things (aside from reading) include: listening to podcasts, playing with her cat, coffee, and going on adventures.
