Hi everyone! My name is Mrs. Roundtree. I am in my 19 year as the librarian at Parker Elementary. I have a BA in Speech Communications from UNCW (Wilmington, NC), a BA in History and a Masters in Reading from UTPB (Odessa, TX) and a Masters in Library Science from TWU (Denton, TX). I love sharing the joy of reading with all of my students and watching them make connections with our stories we read. My favorite books are: The Tale of Despereaux, and The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane written by the fabulous Kate DiCamillo, The Twits by Roald Dahl, and The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore by William Joyce, Creepy Carrots by Arron Reynolds, Acutal Size and What Do You Do If You Work at the Zoo by Steve Jenkins, and The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg.
