The mission of the library is to help students and staff become effective users of information and ideas, provide reading materials for learning and pleasure, and to instill in our patrons a desire for lifelong learning.
My vision for the library is for it to be considered a central hub of literacy and information. The library collection will house a diverse selection of reading materials and online databases where students and staff can easily access the materials for their educational and personal interests purposes. The library will promote collaborations with teachers to help create engaging lessons that will promote a passion for learning and reading in each of the students. The library will be an integral part of helping students become academically successful and lifelong learners.
The librarian will collaborate with teachers to promote the integration of resources into the curriculum and ensure student success.
The librarian will manage a successful library program that aligns with the mission, goals, and objectives of the school.
The librarian will promote the integration of technology to help students and staff access and use new information.
The librarian will develop a library program that is inclusive of diverse interests and learning differences.
The librarian will ensure equal access to all materials and defend intellectual freedom.
