The Midland County Public Library offers free services for all Midland residents. Print books and eBooks may be borrowed at no cost. There are programs designed specifically for children, as well as notary services, public use computers and printers and copiers. Check the monthly calendar for scheduled programs and exhibits.

The Petroleum Museum offers educational programming for all ages. The museum also has several race cars on display. The Museum holds free Family Science nights and offers STEM camps and classes for children during school breaks.
