Media Center Internship Program
Middletown High School South Media Center Internship Program!
The internship program has been established to include students in the continued creation of a true 21st century media center. The goal of the program is to enhance the curriculum, further college and career readiness skills, and utilize meaningful technology.
According to the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards for Students, "Today’s students must be prepared to thrive in a constantly evolving technological landscape" (2017). Helping students to develop the skills necessary to navigate our changing world is essential. The MHSS Media Center Internship Program will help teach those necessary skills.
Interns will have the opportunity to focus efforts on the new Makerspace - the CRAfT LAB, the iLab Audio/Visual Makerspace, the Arts and Humanities Makerspace, Public Relations/Advertising/Communications, Book Circulation/Book Displays/Book Reviews, Event Planning and Fundraising, and Media Center Challenges.
Interns will practice brainstorming, collaborating, project planning and management and much more!
