We can't wait to see all of your amazing entries this year!
BON COURAGE!
A few things to note about this year's VIRTUAL competition:
Although this year's competition is virtual, we would like to have an idea of how many entries we can expect. Therefore, we are asking students (individual or groups) to register by March 31, 2022 via the form found under the Registration tab at the top of the page.
Each student (whether competing individually or as part of a group) MUST complete the media release form located under the "Media Release" tab above. This will allow us to share your videos with the judges, and if you win, will give us permission to post your video on this website.
All entries will be recorded and submitted via video link this year. They can be recorded in their school building or in another location, however they should all follow the guidelines outlined below.
Click on the "Categories" tab above to view all of the category descriptions. As in previous years, you can participate individually or as a group.
To maintain the spirit of our live competition, it is expected that all video submissions are unedited, without any outside resources (unless otherwise stated in the description), and recorded in a single take, as if presented live in front of judges. Also, students are expected to appear in front of the camera, on video, as if they were standing in front of the judges.
Videos should be uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted video. The unlisted YouTube link will need to be submitted via the submission form by the submission deadline (April 22, 2022) The submission form can be found under the "Submit Here" tab at the top of the page.
Winners will be annonced on this site by mid-May once jugding has concluded. As in previous years, student entries will be judged by professors and grad students from Rutgers University.
As in previous years, student winners will receive a "Best in..." category trophy and certificate. The school with the most "Best in..." awards will win a "Best in Tournament" trophy and certificate.
If you have any questions about the competition, the categories or anything else, please email tournoilionnj@gmail.com .
