It is a privilege to be the new Pre-School Social Worker (Child Study Team)/ Community Parent Involvement Specialist at Hazelwood Elementary School. My role includes providing support and resources to students and families. I plan to work closely with the students, teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure the well-being of our students both in and outside of the school setting. I strongly believe in building and nurturing a strong professional relationship with the school community. This ensures that everyone receives intentional and authentic support, which will enhance the preschool experience and promote lifelong academic and social-emotional learning. I am excited about the opportunity to work as the Pre-School Social Worker/ Community Parent Involvement Specialist. As a preschool instructional coach, my primary role for the remainder of the school year is to support the implementation of the C4L curriculum. I focus on helping educators create an organized and nurturing environment that aligns with the New Jersey Preschool Learning Standards. By providing guidance and resources, I aim to empower teachers to foster a positive and effective learning atmosphere for our young students. My goal is to enhance the overall educational experience and ensure that our preschoolers receive the best possible foundation for their growth and development. As a Preschool Intervention and Referral Team (PIRT) Specialist for Middlesex Borough my role is to support and coach preschool teachers, helping ensure every child has the tools and support they need to succeed in the classroom. I’m here to promote a positive learning environment where all children can thrive!
