Welcome to our school library! This is a joyful space where students, families, and teachers come together to grow as readers, thinkers, and explorers.
In our library, we build a love of literacy while encouraging problem solving, collaboration, curiosity, and discovery. Aligned with the AASL standards, our library supports every learner in developing the skills and connections they need to thrive—both in school and beyond. We’re so glad you’re here!
Ms. Malley
This year in the library, we have started a little Makerspace, which is an area with materials for students to solve problems, explore ideas, and design solutions.
Makerspaces have recently become a very popular and essential area in many libraries because they physically bring our shared visions of collaboration, creation, and exploration to life through raw materials. Students have really been enjoying the opportunity to be creative and invent whatever comes to mind.
Some current materials in our Makerspace cart include crayons, markers, play dough, pipe cleaners, paper towel tubes, felt scraps, and construction paper. We are collecting recyclable materials that could be useful for our Huskies' creative minds. If you have any of these things laying around or would be willing to share whatever you can spare, materials will be accepted for the rest of the school year!
