Vidtionary is a video dictionary defining words through images and videos. The short videos include the word said aloud and shown in print, with sound effects or engaging music in the background. This site makes learning vocabulary fun and engaging. It is especially beneficial to our ML students.

The purpose of these Websites is to help develop social language and listening skills that are used in everyday conversation. Daily ESL is designed to help you become familiar with common vocabulary and expressions you can use all the time in many situations. Choose a topic, listen, answer questions, read along with a paragraph, and then discuss the questions with a partner.  

Activities at Randall’s ESL Cyber Listening Lab focus on everyday English comprehension skills at three levels based on content, voices, vocabulary, and natural speed. A combination of adult, teenage, and children’s voices are included. 

Fable cottage has many multilingual tales for English Language Learners. This website provides them with the opportunity to read, listen, and watch videos of classic fable stories in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German!
