This is an excellent resource for guides to find hiking, backpacking, boating, skiing, and climbing trip ideas, complete with almost all of the information needed to propose a trip. Guides can also add notes about helpful information on parking, trail conditions, permits, or anything else.

Here is a folder with packing lists for each type of trip you might lead! These are great starting points but make sure to add/adjust as needed based on weather, conditions, group size, etc.
Are you a whiz at Whisperlite repair? Can you tie knots with your eyes closed? Do you carry a protractor everywhere you go so that you can triangulate your position on a topo map? If you have a skill that you'd like to teach others (it can be anything!), we'd love to help you make it happen. The Driver’s License Program Requirements applies to all individuals who drive on behalf of Middlebury College. A Middlebury College Driver’s License must be obtained in order to drive a Middlebury College owned or rented vehicle. For purposes of this program, personal vehicles used for College business, like MMC trips, shall also be considered a “College vehicle.”

To obtain a Middlebury Driver’s License, drivers must complete the required online Driver Training (Part 1) and an application. They must also:
be at least 19 years old and in possession of a valid United States or Canadian driver's license,
not have these serious citations within the last three years on their motor vehicle record,
not have more than three moving violations, or at-fault accidents in the last two years.
If you are ineligible for a college driver’s license, you can still become an MMC guide.
Permitted to drive passenger cars, 7-passenger vans, pickup trucks, gators, golf carts, lawn mowers.
Only the general requirements need to be met.
If you are not eligible for a 15-passenger license, you need to get a 7-passenger license in order to become an MMC guide.
In addition to Class 1 vehicles, you are also permitted to drive 11, 12 and 15-passenger vans (MMC and rental vans), cube/step type vans, and panel truck vehicles. In addition to the General Requirements, you must also:
Hold your driver’s license for at least 3 years,
take an addition online Driver Training class is (Part 2), and,
scheduling and taking a road test is required for non-CDL operators.
Issued for towing trailers. In addition to the Class 2 requirements, you must also be able to show practical knowledge in Towing, backing and connecting a trailer to a tow vehicle.
