The Michigan Association for College Admission Counseling (MACAC) was founded in 1970 and is an affiliate of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). It is an organization averaging 1,100 professionals from across the state and region serving students as they make choices about pursuing post-secondary education. MACAC effectively brings together secondary school counselors, college admission and financial aid officers, enrollment managers, independent counselors, and organizations engaged in guiding students through the secondary-to-higher-education transition process.

The Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (MACRAO) is a nonprofit association of institutions of higher education. The Michigan College Access Program Personnel (MI-CAPP) brings together persons who have an active interest in and/or are professionally involved in broadening accessibility to and providing support for success in formal, post-secondary education.
MICAPP is the Michigan chapter of the Educational Opportunity Association (EOA). It is one of eight chapters in EOA. The eight chapters are Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin and MO-Kan-NE (Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska).

The Michigan Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (MiCEP) began in 2014 as a grassroots cadre of concurrent enrollment practitioners and advocates from across Michigan meeting to discuss best practices, opportunities, and challenges.
The purpose of this organization is to support concurrent enrollment programs through the advocacy of quality initiatives that promote student access and completion, program development, professional development, communication, and high-quality standards.
