This Privacy Policy describes how Note2Note (“the App”) is developed and operated by Michas, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Note2Note is a macOS application that converts Evernote export files (.enex) into Microsoft OneNote notebooks.

Information We Collect
We Do Not Collect Personal Information.
Michas, Inc. does not collect, store, transmit, or have access to:
Personal information
Account credentials
Notebook content
Usage analytics
Device identifiers
Advertising identifiers
Location data
We do not operate any backend servers that receive user data.
All processing occurs locally on your Mac.
Use of Evernote Export Files
Note2Note works exclusively with .enex export files that you manually export from Evernote.
These files are processed locally on your device.
The contents of these files are never transmitted to Michas, Inc.
We do not access your Evernote account directly.
We do not use the Evernote API.
You are responsible for exporting and providing the .enex files to the App.
Microsoft OneNote Integration
To create notebooks in Microsoft OneNote, the App uses Microsoft’s OAuth authentication system and the Microsoft Graph API.
When you sign in:
You authenticate directly with Microsoft.
We do not receive or store your Microsoft account password.
Microsoft issues an OAuth access token to the App.
This token is used solely to create and upload notebooks to your Microsoft OneNote account via Microsoft Graph.
Your use of Microsoft services is governed by Microsoft’s privacy policy and terms of service.
Local Storage and Secure Storage
The App stores the following locally on your device:
A Microsoft OAuth authentication token.
This token is stored securely using the macOS Keychain.
The authentication token:
Is stored only on your device
Is not transmitted to Michas, Inc.
Is not shared with any third party except Microsoft (as required for API access)
Can be revoked through your Microsoft account security settings
If you uninstall the App, locally stored data may be removed by the operating system.
Data Processing
All notebook conversion processing occurs locally on your Mac.
Data from .enex files is:
Read locally
Converted locally
Transmitted directly from your device to Microsoft OneNote via Microsoft Graph
Michas, Inc. does not:
Store notebook data
Retain backup copies
Log user content
Monitor conversion activity
Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising
Note2Note does not:
Use analytics frameworks
Include third-party tracking SDKs
Use advertising services
Track user behavior
Perform cross-app or cross-site tracking
Crash Reporting
The App does not include third-party crash reporting tools.
If the App crashes, macOS and Apple may collect diagnostic information according to Apple’s system policies. Michas, Inc. does not receive crash logs unless you voluntarily provide them to us.
Children’s Privacy
Note2Note is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data Retention
Because Michas, Inc. does not collect or store user data, we do not retain personal information.
Locally stored authentication tokens remain on your device until:
You revoke access via your Microsoft account
You uninstall the App
The token expires
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the Effective Date above.
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
