Before And After the war

we made this of doing a before and after the Verdun war of Germany and French. the one with no flames is what the two countries lived in peace. and the heart with fire is what happened after and during the war they were split apart.

This is one of the biggest wars and had lasting damage. There was 750,000 deaths from both sides. its was this bad because people did not know how bad Artillery was. more than 70 percent were caused by artillery!
