How long does a functional capacity assessment take?

A typical functional capacity assessment can take between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the complexity of your situation and the areas being assessed. This time includes a comprehensive evaluation of your day-to-day activities, challenges, and goals. For more complex cases, which may require assessments across multiple environments (home, work, community), the assessment could take longer.

What funding options are available (e.g., NDIS)? 

Many of our services, including functional capacity assessments, assistive technology prescriptions, and home modifications, can be funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). If you are an NDIS participant, your plan may cover these services. We also work with other funding bodies and insurance providers, and we are happy to discuss your specific funding options during the initial consultation.

How soon will I receive my functional capacity assessment report? 

After completing your assessment, we aim to provide you with a draft report within 10 business days. The report will include specific recommendations tailored to your individual needs and environments (home, work, community). You will have the opportunity to review the draft and discuss any adjustments with us before the final report is issued.

Can you work with my existing healthcare providers or support team? 

Absolutely! We believe in a collaborative approach to care. We are happy to work alongside your existing healthcare providers, support coordinators, or any other professionals involved in your care to ensure a holistic and comprehensive support plan that meets all your needs.
