• What Type of Opportunity?

  • Is this an internship or other creative opportunity? 

  • Site name, location, website

  • Supervisor or primary contact's info and job title

• Upload Letter of Support or Offer Letter

  • The letter of support, acceptance, or offer letter must be written by a member of the organization and sent from a corporate email address or on official letterhead. MICA’s Internship Learning Agreement is not a substitute for an offer letter.

  • The following should be included in the offer letter:

• The time frame and/or number of hours you will be working 

• • • Description of opportunity: detailing activities for the creative opportunity and/or a job Description detailing your responsibilities 

• Acknowledges the learning goals you and organization have agreed on

• Suggests how you will be supervised/mentored during the experience

• If an internship offer letter was not received, have your supervisor fill out this form

• Upload Budget Proposal (review budget samples)

  • The $14,000 award can be split between multiple recipients depending on the juror's award decisions. If you do not receive the full award funding, what are the top 3 budget priorities the juror should consider funding? (List 3 priorities in order of importance)

  • Confirm if you will receive compensation or payment for the experience

  • Describe your creative opportunity or internship (limit 5000 characters)

  • Tell us about your fine art career goals and professional plans post graduation. (limit 5000 characters)

  • How is this opportunity relevant and supportive of your fine art interests and your stated career goals? How will it help you on your path to a sustainable career in the arts? (limit 5000 characters)

  • At the end of this experience, what do you hope to have gained? (limit 5000 characters)

  • Describe your financial need for this fellowship. Clarify whether or not receiving this award will impact your decision to participate in the internship (limit 2500 characters)
