The literary association of the department HORIZON officially released a manuscript magazine titled 'Thought Cloud' on 24 January 2019. It was released by eminent bilingual writer and winner of Kerala Sahitya Akademy Award Chandrika Balan (Chandramati). The Presidential Address was delivered by the Principal, Dr Georgee K.I., followed by Felicitations by Dr K.L. Anandavally (Director, Self-Financing Wing) and Dr George Mathew (Retd. Assoc. Professor, Dept of English).

HORIZON under the literary association FORUM organised Enigma - Movies-Series Quiz for the students of the college on 23 January 2019.

HORIZON under the literary association FORUM organised a debate on the topic : 'Is Population explosion a friend or foe? '

HORIZON under the literary association FORUM in association with Nature Club and NSS organised “WHOLE EARTH?”, an exhibition and awareness programme.

A Harry Potter Quiz, POTTQ, was conducted by HORIZON for the students of the College. 39 teams from various departments participated. Six teams entered the finals after screening through a written round.

HORIZON was officially inaugurated for 2017-18 by Dr Meena T. Pillai, renowned film critic and Professor, Institute of English, University of Kerala. The Presidential Address was delivered by the Principal, Rev. Dr Gigi Thomas, followed by the Inaugural Address and Felicitations by Fr Geevarghese Valiyachangaveetil (Vice Principal), Dr K.L. Anandavally (Director, Self-Financing Wing) and Dr George Mathew (Retd. Assoc. Professor, Dept of English). The blog of the students of the Self-Financing Wing was also published by the Principal and poems were recited by Nikhil K (S1), Rizvi Saif (S3) and Reshma Sanal (for Sharon C. Raju, S5).

The first programme of HORIZON in 2017-18 was a debate on the topic : 'One's clothing style and appearance reveals one's personality'.

Horizon, the Literary Club of FORUM, the Literary Association of the English SF Department, was inaugurated by Ms Khyrunnissa, renowned writer of children's literature in February 2017. She read excepts from her book and gave away awards to the toppers in the BEC Exam.

Environmental Studies Field Trips were organized to Bonacaud for the two senior batches.

The second Onam of the SF batch was celebrated with still more style and gaiety...
