Research Interests
My portion of the VisChem project focuses on the learning objective "Experiencing VisChem as a learner" as the participants engage in the professional development program. I examine the storyboards produced during the VisChem Institute, qualitatively analyze the chemical features the teachers deem salient, and categorize any differences observed from their initial to revised artifacts.
Dissertation
Examining changes in chemistry content represented in molecular-level storyboards after interacting with VisChem animations
Career Plans
I would like to teach chemistry at the university level.
