Communication: Through my experience in the lab, I have developed the ability to effectively communicate my project to audiences both within and outside of my research group. I have also strengthened my ability to collaborate with lab members and my principal investigator, ensuring clear communication to achieve the best possible outcomes. 

Critical thinking: My research experience has significantly strengthened my critical thinking skills. I have learned to work through experimental procedures, interpret data, and troubleshoot challenges as they arise. Additionally, research has provided an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a practical, real-world context. 

Teamwork: Working in the lab has allowed me to collaborate closely with others in a team-oriented environment. I have contributed where needed and worked alongside peers to achieve shared goals, reinforcing the importance of cooperation and adaptability.
