Equity and Inclusion
This entire project is based in the idea of equity and inclusion, especially in the healthcare. I practiced equity and inclusion by looking into different perspectives of healthcare, and by looking into the work of a diverse group of anthropologists.
Critical Thinking
I had to use critical thinking a lot when making my poster since it took a lot of revising and consolidating to make all the information fit. It was hard to put all of the information I had gathered into such a small format. This was a great mental exercise in identifying only the most important parts of research.
Professionalism
Making a poster really pushed my attention to detail and creative eye to the max. I had to be careful with how everything was worded and put together so I could make an engaging and professional poster. This project tested me on my ability to choose words carefully since I had such little space and ensure everything looked clean and put together.
