While conducting undergraduate research at Miami University I believe I have further developed my career and self development, my communication, and my teamwork. As a premedical student I believe undergraduate research has helped prepare me for the work that will be required of me in my medical school career and further in my professional career as a physician. I believe this experience has helped me find what areas of medicine and science I am interested in as well as which subjects are my strongest. I have improved my communication and teamwork as I have spent the majority of this project working with other members in my lab. I have maintained constant communication with my PI as well as graduate and undergraduate students in my lab while completing this project.
