The National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE) has 8 career readiness competencies to help students in higher education prepare for long term success in the workforce. Through this honors thesis research experience, I have gained the following competencies:
Communication: Ensured that survey questions were culturally tailored to the Czech mental healthcare system by using relevant terms.
Critical Thinking: Accurately and logically assigned original coding labels to each qualitative response and then grouped those into higher order headings during inductive content analysis.
Technology: Learned how to use Qualtrics for my online survey and SPSS for my statistics.
