Communication: Our lab work has made us strong communicators by teaching us how to seek clarity from our faculty mentor and from each other when needed, how to ask for help, and how to actively listen to team ideas to make the most of our research experience.Â
Leadership: Our lab work has allowed us a space to develop our leadership skills by learning information from previous authors, checking in on our project progress and making changes to improve our success, and entering the lab with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Teamwork: Our lab has taught us the importance of teamwork by collaborating with other faculty and upperclassmen, being curious about our teammates ideas, and creating connections with our teammates and faculty mentor.
