About Me
I am an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I teach content courses for preservice and in-service teachers. My teaching, research, and service all focus on supporting and understanding the context in which K–12 mathematics teachers work. I am particularly interested in the teaching and learning of high school geometry and organizational structures in high schools. Before coming to Miami University in 2017, I taught mathematics, statistics, and economics for 20 years at Troy High School in Troy, Ohio.
