This is a subset of our Genemapper data. Each data set was tested with different PCR primers, and peaks were recorded. The green boxes for the samples indicate infected mice. The yellow boxes show absent peaks for that specific animal sample. This data was then put into the program Coancestry to compare each of the animals for relatedness in primer peaks.
These are some of the results (first fifteen pairings) from the statistical test TrioML in the program Coancestry. This program took two individuals and compared their peaks to the rest of the dataset to estimate a quantitative value for relatedness. We then ranked the relatedness values from highest (most related) to lowest (least related). The highest values were both infected individual pairings.
