R2 is the official literary journal showcasing the creative work of MIAD students! 

R2: The River Rat publishes outstanding writing, visual art, and multimedia work from MIAD students from first-years to seniors, celebrating and offering a platform for the range and vibrance of creative writing and art they produce.

Created and produced in the Writing and Humanities Department at MIAD, every year R2 publishes two print issues and a special summer online issue featuring the work of graduating seniors.
