MID-HUDSOn Sustainability IN EDucation Series

 Our global community currently faces a evergrowing energy crisis, record greenhouse gas concentrations, and increasing extreme weather events. This situation requires concerted, collective effort by stakeholders in societies across the world.

The primary goal  of Mid-Hudson Sustainability In Education Series is to help bring together a community of STEAM teachers who are committed to exploring climate solutions together and creating/assimilating curricular resources for themselves and other teachers.

The mission of the Mid-Hudson Teacher Center [MHTC] is to enhance teaching as a profession. MHTC fosters student achievement by providing teachers with state of the art strategies and technologies reflecting current societal demands in Dutchess, Ulster and Orange counties. The teacher center is a place where the educator’s voice is heard and a community of learners is built through the talents of teachers.

The New York State Master Teacher Program is a vibrant professional network of more than 1400 outstanding public school K-12 STEM teachers throughout the state who share a passion for their own STEM learning and for collaborating with colleagues to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders.
