Odds and Ends about our ClassRoom

• All grades will be posted on PowerSchool.

• Each Wednesday the students will bring home a "Wednesday folder" containing work/ test/quizzes. This folder needs to be singed, and returned the next daily.

• Pertinent information including daily homework will be posted on our Class page.

• Our Classroom behavior policy will be based on a " Classroom Economy system where students can earn or lose " money" based on our classroom rules and expectations. The students use their classroom cash to shop on Fridays in our class store.

Daily Check List/ Class Expectations

🌅 Morning Routine (Arrival)

• Unpack your backpack: Take out your folders, lunchbox, and water bottle, then hang your bag up neatly.

• Turn in your work: Place any completed homework or notes from home in the correct turn-in bins.

• Prepare your supplies: Make sure you have at least two sharpened pencils ready for the day.

• Get right to work: Start your "Morning Work" quietly at your desk, or read a book if you finish early.

🧠 During the Day (Learning Time)

• Keep your space tidy: Make sure your desk stays organized so you can easily find your books and supplies.

• Be a respectful participant: Always raise your hand if you need to speak, ask a question, or leave your seat.

• Practice active listening: Keep your eyes and ears focused on the teacher or whichever classmate is speaking.

• Give it your all: Always try your best on your assignments, even when a subject feels a little tricky!

🎒 End of the Day (Pack Up & Dismissal)

• Check your planner: Write down tonight's homework and any important reminders so you don't forget.

• Pack up carefully: Put your homework folder, books, and lunchbox inside your backpack.

• Clean your area: Look around your desk and pick up any scrap paper, trash, or dropped pencils from the floor.

• Push in your chair: Make sure your chair is pushed all the way in before you head to the dismissal line.
