Students are expected to participate actively in class, take notes, come to class prepared, be organized, and complete all assignments. Students should properly prepare for assessments and projects. Students are expected to be respectful, give their best effort, and follow basic classroom rules.
Students are responsible for making up notes, class assignments, and tests when they are absent. It is not always possible to recreate a lab, but students can do so when possible. Students can see what they have missed by looking in the class absent folders. Make-up work must be completed within 3 days of returning to school.
Late work is accepted as long as it is turned in before the Unit is completed. Once the class moves on to the next unit, late work will no longer be accepted. Students will lose points for each day the assignment is late.
Grades will be based on classwork, labs, projects, tests/quizzes, and participation. I do not provide extra credit opportunities.
Daily attendance and participation is vital to your success in my class. Please come to class prepared to learn each day.
