Eligibility for Summer School/

Credit Recovery

• To be eligible for summer school/credit recovery, a student must have taken the course and earned a failing grade for the year.  A failing grade is any grade below a 70, but must be a 55 or higher.

• All summer school/credit recovery registration must be approved first by a school counselor or the Supervisor of School Counseling.  Students may not register for more than two summer school courses and must have failed with a final grade below 70.  Complete this Google Form for approval to register for summer school/credit recover course(s).

• It is advisable for all students who have failed a course to attend summer school/credit recovery.  Course selections for the next school year may be adjusted if a student does not attend summer school/credit recovery.

Reminder:  Students must pass 30 credits from this past year, including summer school, to be eligible for interscholastic sports for the fall and winter seasons.

Virtual Summer School Credit Recovery Program

Summer school/credit recovery coursework can be completed online through the district’s partnership with the following summer school/credit recovery virtual programs:

    • Registration Website: Credit Recovery Course Registration (First, click the link and select your course(s) to add to your cart. Upon checkout, you will be prompted to sign in/create an account and proceed to checkout). 

    • Registration Deadline: June 20, 2026

    • Start Date: June 22, 2026

    • End Date: August 17, 2026, by 11:59 PM

    • Tuition Costs: $185 per course

    • Payment Website: Pay directly via the registration website

    • Choose courses that end with CR (Credit Recovery)

    • Geometry IC = Full Year First Time Geometry Credit (needs prior approval)

    • Accommodations and supports available for students with IEPs or 504 plans; instant online tutoring available for all students at no additional cost

• Educere:

  • • Registration Website:  Educere Virtual Credit Recovery Courses - Select "Abbreviated Full" courses only 

• Registration Deadline:  July 2, 2026

• Start Date:  Course(s) start approximately 7 days after receipt of registration & payment

• End Date:  August 17, 2026, by 11:59 PM

• Tuition Costs:  $245 for most courses 

• Payment Website: Pay directly through the Educere website

• Accommodations and supports available for students with IEPs or 504 plans; instant online tutoring available for all students at no additional cost
