1. Read the scholarship application and requirements carefully.
2. Complete the application along with any additional supplemental materials that you need to provide (such as an essay, an activity sheet/resume, tax information, etc.).
3. Complete the 2026 MH Scholarship Processing Google Form and attach your materials. For tracking purposes, please complete this step even if the application does not require any additional supplemental materials from the school counseling office.
4. The School Counseling Office will include any additional required information, such as transcripts or letters of recommendation, and then forward the completed application to the scholarship provider.

Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation - $20,000 - an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. Must be graduating during the 2025-2026 academic year with plans to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary education. Minimum B/3.0 GPA. Deadline: September 30, 2025
Coolidge Scholarship - The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that recipients may use for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the United States. Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2027 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply (current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Winners may use the scholarship to pursue any academic major. Please review the criteria here. Deadline: December 15, 2025
Elks National Foundation Scholarship Program - Ranging from $1,000 per year to $7,500 per year - Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. Available to current high school seniors. All scholarships are in the form of certificates of award conditional upon the full-time enrollment of the winner in an accredited U.S. college or university.
The Hagan Scholarship Foundation - The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides $2,000 to help pay for essential items to attend college and up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Criteria includes: Must have achieved 3.50 GPA. Recipients must work 240 hours from January 1 to September 1, prior to the start of the fall semester each academic year. Employment and/or paid internships must be regularly scheduled work performed under supervision for compensation. Work can be full-time or part-time. Please review poster. Deadline: December 1, 2025
Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest by Optimum - Grand Prize: $3,000, Other Prizes: Varies - Optimum invites all middle school and high school students to enter the Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest. The criteria includes: In 500 words or less, choose a person, cultural experience, celebration or tradition that has helped you connect to Hispanic culture and explain what that means to you. Please note, the criteria states that all entries must be submitted with a complete official entry form including teacher/school counselor verification and Parent/Guardian approval. Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards - The Youth Awards were founded in 1998 by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. The Youth Awards honor high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community and for their excellence in various categories including: Community Service, Engineering, Green and Technology, with additional categories being added throughout the awards season. Rumba Meats, USHLI Scholarship - $1,000 - In collaboration with Rumba Meats, USHLI is offering a scholarship to Hispanic students on their educational journey. This scholarship opportunity is open to high school seniors graduating in the spring of 2026 and are planning to continue their journey into higher education. The Women's Club of Fox Hills - $1,500 - The applicant for this scholarship must be a senior, female student who is involved with community and school service organizations and has achieved an academic average of 85 or above. Any service, on a volunteer basis, which benefits the community or school, will be considered, but service is a mandatory requirement for the scholarship. Deadline - April 24, 2026
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Rho Tau Zeta Chapter's 2026 Scholarship Awards - $500-$2,5000 - For nearly 25 years, Rho Tau Zeta has served Passaic and Morris counties, empowering young women - especially women of color - in their pursuit of higher education. There are several scholarship opportunities for female high school students with at least a 2.5 GPA who are planning to attend or are currently enrolled in a 2 year community college or vocational school, or a 4 year college or university.
