1. Read the scholarship application and requirements carefully.
2. Complete the application along with any additional supplemental materials that you need to provide (such as an essay, an activity sheet/resume, tax information, etc.).
3. Complete the 2026-2027 MH Scholarship Processing Google Form and attach your materials. For tracking purposes, please complete this step even if the application does not require any additional supplemental materials from the school counseling office.
4. The School Counseling Office will include any additional required information, such as transcripts or letters of recommendation, and then forward the completed application to the scholarship provider. For scholarships from outside organizations or scholarships not posted on our Local Scholarships webpage, please utilize the Scholarship Processing Form to request information for sending out your application.

Scholarships 2026-2027
2026 Rockaway Community Impact & Wellness Scholarship - $500 - Through Rockaway Township Opioid Settlement Funding, two $500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors residing in Rockaway Township or Rockaway Borough who have demonstrated leadership and service in promoting substance use prevention, mental wellness, positive peer engagement, and community well-being.
Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation - $20,000 - an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. Must be graduating during the 2025-2026 academic year with plans to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary education. Minimum B/3.0 GPA. Deadline: September 30, 2026
Common App Scholarship - Up to $1,250 - Must have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater and answer one of the essay prompts. Please review the website for more information. Deadline: December 15, 2026
Elks National Foundation Scholarship Program - Ranging from $1,000 per year to $7,500 per year - Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. Available to current high school seniors. All scholarships are in the form of certificates of award conditional upon the full-time enrollment of the winner in an accredited U.S. college or university. Deadline: November 12, 2026
Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards - The Youth Awards were founded in 1998 by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. The Youth Awards honor high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community and for their excellence in various categories including: Community Service, Engineering, Green and Technology, with additional categories being added throughout the awards season. Open to students graduating in Spring 2027 with a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0. Deadline: November 1, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM PST
NC Park Scholarship Program - The mission of the Park Scholarships program is to bring exceptional students to NC State, based on outstanding accomplishments and potential in scholarship, leadership, service and character. Must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.8 and apply for fall, first-year admission into a baccalaureate program at NC State. Requirements include: two recommendations and two essays. Red Egg Marketing Scholarship - $2,500 - The Red Egg Marketing Scholarship is open to individuals who are seeking to pursue a career in any creative or marketing-related field. Please review website for criteria. Deadline: October 31, 2026
Sallie Mae "No Essay" Scholarship - $2,000 - The Sallie Mae No Essay Scholarship is open to seniors intending to enroll in an accredited college or university located within the United States, within one year of graduating high school.
