2. Complete the application along with any additional supplemental materials that you need to provide (such as an essay, an activity sheet/resume, tax information, etc.).
3. Complete the 2026 MH Scholarship Processing Google Form and attach your materials. For tracking purposes, please complete this step even if the application does not require any additional supplemental materials from the school counseling office.
4. The School Counseling Office will include any additional required information, such as transcripts or letters of recommendation, and then forward the completed application to the scholarship provider.

Alexea G. Karpinski Memorial Scholarship (Iron Girl Project) - $2,253 - Each Spring, Iron Girl Project awards scholarship funds to New Jersey high school student athletes who live their lives the Iron Girl way, as established by Lex. They must also be enrolling in a full-time accredited undergraduate program/school, technical/vocational training, or the military with a grade point average of at least 3.5. The amount of the scholarship is $2,253 which represents Lex’s field hockey and lacrosse goalie jersey numbers. Requirements include an essay, transcript, and Coach's letter. American Legion Auxiliary of Morris County - $1,000 - This scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate a commitmentto academic achievement, community service, and the values of the American Legion Auxiliary. To be eligible, one must be an active member of the U.S. Armed Forces or be a child, grandchild, or sibling of a veteran who served in the U.S. Armed Forces and was honorably discharged. Must be enrolled as a high school student at time of application, must be part of the 2026 graduating class, must attend a high school located within Morris County and must provide a transcript. Betty Bradbury Vail Scholarship (DAR) - $2,000 - This scholarship, named in honor of Betty Bradbury Vail whose personal slogan was "Make a Difference," is open to qualifying seniors who plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States and are majoring in Political Science, History, Government or Economics. Burgess & Niple - Better Tomorrow Engineering Scholarship - $2,500 - These scholarships aim to support students who are passionate about creating a better tomorrow for communities across the country and around the world through the field of engineering. Christine Sweeney Memorial Scholarship - The Christine Sweeney Memorial Scholarship is in honor of Christine Sweeney and her years of service as a secretary in the Guidance Office at Morris Hills High School. Christine Sweeney passed away in 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Annually, there are two (2) $250 scholarships (1 male and 1 female) for a special education student (with an IEP) that is graduating from Morris Hills and will be continuing their education at a college, technical school, or any other form of post-high school education. Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation - $20,000 - an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. College Club of Dover - Scholarships will be awarded to those young women who will attend an accredited four-year college or university. Coolidge Scholarship - The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that recipients may use for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the United States. Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2027 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply (current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Elks National Foundation Scholarship Program - Ranging from $1,000 per year to $7,500 per year - Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. The Hagan Scholarship Foundation - The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides $2,000 to help pay for essential items to attend college and up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest by Optimum - Grand Prize: $3,000, Other Prizes: Varies - Optimum invites all middle school and high school students to enter the Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest. John Hessler Memorial Scholarship - (Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 344 Rockaway Township) - $1,000 - This scholarship is in memory of John Hessler, who fought a tough battle against ALS before sadly passing away in 2018. He was a Vietnam US Navy Veteran and proud member of American Legion Post #344 of Rockaway where he dedicated many years volunteering. This scholarship is open to residents of Rockaway Township or Rockaway Borough. Junior Matrons of Morristown, Inc. Rose & Robert Rastelli Memorial Scholarship - $1,000 - This award is given to a graduating Morris Hills High School senior who intends to pursue studies in English, language arts, journalism or communications. The late Rose Fusco Rastelli, a longtime English teacher with the Rockaway Borough Board of Education, was a secretary and trustee of the Rockaway Free Public Library. Born in Italy, she was beloved locally for her work as founder and president of the Rockaway Boro Garden Club and activities with St. Cecilia Church and her alma mater, the College of St. Elizabeth. Her son, Robert (1947-2017), enjoyed a remarkable career in the newspaper industry, beginning as a writer and editor at The Dover Advance. Among his many accomplishments spanning 35 years at The Star-Ledger in Newark, he served as Sunday features editor and deputy food editor. White Meadow Lake Women's Club Scholarship - This scholarship is funded by events and programs run by the White Meadow Lake Women’s Club. White Meadow Lake - Joy Weinreich Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is in memory of Joy Weinreich, who found her forever home in the White Meadow Lake section of Rockaway and was very active in her WML community. Joy was an amazing person who always kept busy making this world and her community a better place. In establishing this scholarship, the WML community wishes to recognize an individual that exemplifies the same qualities and dedication to our community. The Women's Club of Fox Hills - $1,500 - The applicant for this scholarship must be a senior, female student who is involved with community and school service organizations and has achieved an academic average of 85 or above. Any service, on a volunteer basis, which benefits the community or school, will be considered, but service is a mandatory requirement for the scholarship. Deadline: April 24, 2026
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Rho Tau Zeta Chapter's 2026 Scholarship Awards - $500-$2,500 - For nearly 25 years, Rho Tau Zeta has served Passaic and Morris counties, empowering young women - especially women of color - in their pursuit of higher education. There are several scholarship opportunities for female high school students with at least a 2.5 GPA who are planning to attend or are currently enrolled in a 2 year community college or vocational school, or a 4 year college or university. Additional requirements include a resume, essay, recommendations, and a photograph. Please note, all applicants will be required to attend one scholarship application webinar via Zoom. Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award - $1,000 - This scholarship recognizes young women for their commitment to volunteerism, volunteer leadership achievements and dedication to empowering women worldwide.
