STEPS TO TAKE PRIOR TO THE START OF THE 2022 - 2023 SCHOOL YEAR

1. Review the health and safety measures the Morris Hills Regional District is taking to begin the 2022 - 2023 school year by clicking on the "Road Forward - Health & Safety" tab at the top of this site, which includes an update on health and safety protocols.

2. Parents/guardians of students in grades 10 - 12 must complete the Annual Student Information Update in ASPEN. PARENTS MAY BEGIN THIS PROCESS ON AUGUST 15, 2022. (The update feature will not be available before August 15th). This involves logging into ASPEN to update contact information or make any changes to policy agreements. Click on the "Aspen Update" tab at the top of this page for more information. If you have no changes to make, you may skip this step. AGAIN, THIS PROCESS MAY BEGIN ON AUGUST 15, 2022.

3. Review all important policies and information by clicking on the "MH Policies and Important Information" tab at the top of this page. If any of the health forms apply to your student, please print them out and submit them to the MH Health Office. In addition, we have provided you some resources for the 2022-2023 school year. Please click on the "Resources" tab at the top of this page for useful links.

4. Log into MySchoolBucks, agree to the Acceptable Use Policy, and pay the annual Chromebook fee of $27.50. For assistance, please access this tutorial video: Tutorial Video.

5. Each student must complete the district summer reading assignment. Information regarding the assignment can be found here: MHRD Summer Assignment Site. (Please note that some of our advanced level courses might have additional summer assignments and information is located on the site.)

6. Check ASPEN for your scheduled bus route and information. Bus Information, including pick-up times and locations, will be made available in ASPEN on August 19, 2022. Please click on the "Bus Ridership" tab at the top of the site for additional information. Students will need their ID to ride the bus throughout the school year. If you lost your ID, you may request a new ID using MySchoolBucks. Freshmen students will receive a temporary ID at Freshmen Orientation and use it until they are issued their permanent ID.

7. Students must check ASPEN for their class schedule for the 2022 - 2023 school year. Student schedules for upperclassmen will be made available in ASPEN on Friday, August 26, 2022. Ninth-grade students will receive their schedules at Freshmen Orientation on August 24, 2022.

8. Download the District App for your mobile device. The app can be used to access ASPEN and receive announcements. For more information, click on the following link: District App Information.

9. Support and join the Morris Hills High School Home and School Association for the 2022-2023 school year. Please access the "Home and School Association" tab at the top of this page for more information.
