NoodleTools will help you cite your sources by providing a fill in the blank form to help locate all the necessary information to cite correctly. Databases directly link to your Noodletools sources.
Use the videos below to help refresh your memory if you are unsure how to cite your sources or export your works cited page.
When you create a new project, NoodleTools defaults to the Dashboard tab. Here you will find options for Sharing and collaboration, where you can share with partners, or teachers.
If your teacher has asked you to share your project with an assignment inbox, make sure to find the correct inbox and select Done when you are finished.
Most of the time, you will want to use the webpage template. Look for all the information by scrolling on the page and following links for About Us if necessary.
Easy! Click on the citation symbol and follow the steps!
NoodleTools notecards helps as you take notes from your sources in three ways:
Direct quotation (“A”): Store source material for future reference. Highlight and annotate to ensure close reading.
Paraphrase or summary (“B”): Explain the source material in your own words. Check your understanding.
My ideas (“C”): Reflect and engage. Articulate ideas, assumptions and questions. What do I wonder? How does it fit with what I know? How should I follow up?

Yes, you need to cite images and make sure they are free to use! The best way to do that is to look at the licensing information. You can limit your Google Image search by clicking on Tools/Usage Rights and select Creative Commons Licenses.
The best way to get your works cited page from NoodleTools is to export, not copy and paste. When you export your works cited page from NoodleTools to Google drive, it will format and organize it correctly for you!
Follow the directions but if it seems like nothing happens when you go to Print/Export, your browser might have a pop-up blocker.
