2025 - 2026 School Year
Dear Morris Knolls Community,
I hope you are enjoying a relaxing summer with your family and friends. As we prepare to begin the 2025 - 2026 school year, we look forward to welcoming everyone back with renewed energy, purpose, and optimism. There is something powerful about a new beginning, a clean slate, a fresh start, and the chance to do something remarkable. Whether you are stepping into Morris Knolls for the first time or returning to continue your journey, this year is full of possibilities and potential.
As we approach the 2025 - 2026 school year, we are excited to introduce our theme for the year: Unleash Your Potential. It is a bold and inspiring call to action for all of us to embrace challenges, discover our strengths, and strive for excellence in everything we do. This is not just a slogan. It is a call to action and a reminder that each day offers the chance to push past limits, discover new strengths, and take bold steps toward becoming the best version of ourselves.
To our students: take the leap. Set bold goals. Ask big questions. Be fearless in the pursuit of growth. Your time at Morris Knolls is your opportunity to shape your story.
To our families: your partnership is essential. Stay connected, be involved, and help us lift our students higher.
To our staff: thank you for being the guides, encouragers, and role models our students need. Let us continue to challenge, support, and believe in every learner who walks through our doors.
Throughout the year, we will be highlighting moments where our community is living our theme, in small wins, in big breakthroughs, and in the everyday efforts that make Knolls such a special place. Please share those stories with us so we can celebrate the journey together!

Steps to take before the start of the school year:
Parents of students in grades 10 - 12 should complete the Annual Student Information Update in ASPEN. Parents can begin this process on August 18, 2025. This involves going into ASPEN to update contact information or make any changes to policy agreements. Click on the "Aspen Update" tab at the top of this page for more information. If you have no changes to make to your contact information or policy agreements from previous years, you can skip this step.
Review all yearly public notices by clicking on the MK Policies and Information tab at the top of this site. You can review this information at your leisure. If any of the health forms apply to your student, you can print them and submit them to our Health Office. In addition, we have provided useful resources for the school year. Please click on the Resources tab on the top of this page for useful links, including access to our Student Handbook for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
Parents and Guardians of students in grade 11-12 should log into MySchoolBucks and pay the annual chromebook fee of $27.50. For assistance, here is a tutorial video: Tutorial Video . Parents and Guardians of students in grade 9-10 will receive an invoice for the annual chromebook fee during the month of September. Once you receive the invoice via email, you can conveniently pay online using MySchoolBucks. Please note that fees will be waived for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch.
Each student should complete the district summer reading assignment. Information regarding the assignment can be found here: MHRD Summer Assignment Site. (Please note that some of our advanced level courses might have additional summer assignments and information is located on the site.)
Be sure to check ASPEN for your scheduled bus route and information. Bus Information, including pick up times and locations, will be made available in ASPEN on Friday, August 15, 2025. Please click on the "Bus Ridership" tab at the top of the site for additional information. Students will need their ID to ride the bus throughout the school year. If you lost your ID, you may request a new ID using MySchoolBucks. Freshmen Students will receive a temporary ID at Freshmen Orientation and use it until they are issued their permanent ID.
