Stage Manager and Lighting Designer
Alana is a senior at Morris Hills. She stage managed All in the Timing, 12 Angry Jurors, and The Little Mermaid, for which she received a Superior Award in Stage Management and a $500 Technical Scholarship from the New Jersey Thespian Festival. Alana has designed the lights for All in the Timing, 12 Angry Jurors, and The Little Mermaid, and she has been in light crew for Charley's Aunt, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, A Night of One Acts, and various other events at Morris Hills. Alana is a State Thespian Officer for New Jersey and the Secretary of International Thespian Society Troupe 1736. She would like to thank Amber for everything, from her tireless work both in prop shop and stage management to all of the amazing adventures. Alana is so proud of the cast and crew for all of their work and hopes you enjoy the show!

Alec Ferguson is a senior and is both excited and sad to be in his last High School Musical. He has appeared in many shows such as a Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, 12 Angry Jurors, The Little Mermaid, All in the Timing, and the one you are watching right now. Assistant Stage Manager and Head of Prop Shop
Amber Kurland is a sophomore at Morris Hills and a member of the International Thespian Society. She has done lights for 12 Angry Jurors, The Little Mermaid, All in the Timing, and various other school events. This year, she helped found the prop shop GT where she creates various props and set pieces for the show. Amber is so excited to continue her theatre experience throughout her high school career, and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Aria is a senior dancing in her first musical at Morris Hills. Although she has never performed in it before, she decided to join the musical this year because she wanted to spread joy and hope to the community through the art of song and dance. This is her ninth year dancing competitively at Generations of Dance in styles such as ballet, lyrical, contemporary, tap, jazz, acro, hip-hop, and more. She would like to thank the cast and crew for making her feel welcome and the staff for giving her this opportunity to perform and share her dancing with others. She hopes those who watch the show come away knowing that better days are ahead.

Ava is a sophmore participating in her first musical on the Morris Hills stage. She's been a competitive dancer for 8 years, and hopes to share her talent with you all. She's so excited to be able to work with the best directors and crew, to help create a show for everyone to enjoy.

Becky is a senior participating in her fifth production at Morris Hills High school. She has been a member of run crew and construction crew for Morris Hills including The little mermaid and all in the timing. She is really excited to see the result of all of the hard work that the cast and crew put into this production!

Danny is a senior performing in his 4th musical on the Morris Hills stage. He is no stranger to the theater program at Morris Hills, participating in every musical since freshman year, as a Russian soloist and featured dancer in Fiddler on the Roof, as Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and as Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid. He would like to thank his parents for their endless support and assistance, as well as his fellow cast members for their hard work in making this show unforgettable despite the unfortunate circumstances. He feels so lucky that this show is even possible in a time like this and is glad to share this experience with the entire cast and crew.

Ella Malatesta is a junior this year and is excited to be a part of her fourth production as a Morris Hills student. Previously, you may have seen her in a variety of shows including her most recent roles in All in the Timing (Dawn), The Little Mermaid (Andrina, Gull, Princess 2), and Twelve Angry Jurors (Juror 12). Ella would like to thank and congratulate the cast and crew of Songs for a New World for all of their hard work and dedication. And a very special thank you to her mom and dad for providing her with roots to grow and wings to fly. She is elated to be able to perform in these times and hopes you enjoy the show!

Erian Arteaga is a freshman participating in their first musical on the Morris Hill's stage. They were last seen performing The Lion King Jr the musical as part of the ensemble at the Thomas Jefferson Middle School. They are looking forward to be a part of this experience and would like to thank the cast and crew for their hard work and time. They're excited for how this will play out.

Hannah Graham is a senior who is super excited to be in her second musical on the Morris Hills stage. She has previously been seen in Morris Hills' The Little Mermaid last year as Arista, as well as a variety of other shows at Copeland Middle School and the Rockaway Junior Players Studio. She also has participated in the Morris Hills afterschool choirs, and other state/regional groups throughout high school. She is stoked to be involved in an in-person performance this year despite the craziness of the pandemic, and wants to thank the cast, crew, directors, and her family for all of their support!

Jack McMahon is a Junior, this will be the fourth production he’s worked on. He’s very excited to see everyone’s hard work pay off!

Jacob is a senior helping out with crew for the second time. He previously worked a spotlight for the Little Mermaid while trying to prevent the incredibly talented Stage Manager from having a career ending accident with a gym scooter and a broom. He would like to thank the crew for being an amazing family, albeit a weird one, and those in light crew, for being the best crew. He hopes that you enjoy the show!!

Jake Hamtil is a Senior at Morris Hills High School and for this year’s production of “Songs for a New World”, Jake is a part of crew and is doing a lot of behind the scenes work. Jake has also participated in “All in the Timing” as Trotsky, “The Little Mermaid” as Jetsam the Eel, “12 Angry Jurors” as a news reporter, and multiple Theatre Arts showcases. Jake wishes his fellow cast and crew an amazing show and would like to thank the directors for taking the time to put this all together.

Julia is a senior in her second year on light crew. She has done light crew for 12 Angry Jurors, The Little Mermaid, and All in the Timing. She thanks the cast and crew for all their hard work and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!

Kamryn is a Senior at Morris Hills and is participating in her 4th and final Morris Hills Musical. She has been previously seen in Alice in Wonderland (Ensemble), Fiddler on the Roof (Shaindel), Forum (Vibrata), 12 Angry Jurors (Juror 10), The Little Mermaid (Ursula), and All in the Timing (Kafka). She would like to thank her mother and grandma for supporting her love in theatre for the past 18 years. And a very special thankyou to Mrs.Calzone for a phenomenal past 4 tears. Katherine Lanzerotti, Junior, is thrilled to be part of Songs for a New World. Katie is a member of the MHHS Marching Band (trumpet), Concert Band, Concert Choir, Women’s, Knights Templar, and Madrigals Honors Choirs. She also has been selected for the past two years to participate in the North Jersey Region Choir. She has also participated in Morris County Area Choir for the past three years. She is a member of the International Thespians Society and the Vice President of the Tri-M Music Honors Society. In the past, she has also been involved in many other musicals. Some were Disney’s The Lion King as Rafiki at Copeland Middle School, Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical the Musical in the summer production in Clifton NJ, and Flounder in Disney’s The Little Mermaid in the MHHS 2020 production. Katie would like to thank God, her parents, Natalie, family, and friends for their love and support. She would also like to thank the directors for all the hard work they put into this production.

Kayla Thomas is a senior here at Hills and this is her fourth musical! You might know her from last year's production of "The Little Mermaid" where she played the character "Ariel". Kayla is very involved with the choir and does a lot of singing in, and outside of school. This year she will have the privilege to perform with the All-Eastern US choir! Next year Kayla will be attending music school and studying voice at the college level. She would like to thank her directors, cast, and crewmates for all their dedication to the show and for never failing to make her happy!

Kyle is a junior and is participating in his 3rd show on the Morris Hills stage. He has been in Morris Hills musicals: Protean “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” and Sebastian “The Little Mermaid. He has also been in Morris Hills plays: Jack “Charley’s Aunt” and Juror #4 “12 Angry Jurors” which won 1st place in STANJ for best group scene. This is also where Kyle won 2nd Best Actor in NJ. Now Kyle is focusing on his dancing along with film. He wishes the cast and crew good luck and for everyone to break legs!!

Marti Colasurdo is a senior and is excited to be part of her final musical production at Morris Hills. Last year she was Flotsam and a Sailor in The Little Mermaid. In addition to being in the musical, Marti is the Senior Class President, Homecoming Queen, a high honor roll student, and a varsity soccer and lacrosse player. Marti is a member of Concert, KT, Madrigal choirs and is a school National Anthem Singer. Marti will be studying Engineering next year at Lehigh University! Marti would like to thank her friends in the cast because every rehearsal was so fun and the directors for their patience and creativity for making this years show actually happened. A special thanks to all of her friends and family for their love and constant support. She will miss her time on the MH stage.

Mattingly Reaven is a freshman participating in her first musical at Morris Hills. She has been part of the crew for musicals in middle school and is super excited for her first show at Morris Hills.

Mia Bella Marucci is a sophomore participating in her third production on the Morris Hills Stage. She was mostly recently seen as Milton in All in the Timing, and has previously been seen as Adella in the Little Mermaid and performing in the Newton Theater. She would like to thank the cast and crew for their hard work and her family for their love and support.
Marketing Manager - Tech and Advertising
Mukilan Karthikeyan, previously seen in the cast of Charley's Aunt as Charley and in 12 Angry Jurors as Juror 11, has now entered a new world: Marketing. Previously, he worked with the crew as part of the Light Crew at Mr. Morris Hills. But now he is expanding his horizons as the marketing manager of "Songs for a New World", with a focus on Technology and Marketing. Having been jokingly know as the Indian Tech Support of the International Thespian Society (the ITS of ITS) he could not be more excited to be the Technology lead. Mukilan, with experience making many websites, has taken on the task of adapting the marketing campaign for this new virtual world and establishing a website for the future.
Mukilan would like to show his deepest gratitude towards his family for their support, the directors for their guidance, and his friends of cast and crew for their hard work even during trying times. Break legs and make names!

Nicholas is a sophomore participating in his second musical in Morris Hills High School. He has been previously seen in “Twelve Angry Jurors” as Juror #2, “The Little Mermaid” as Skuttle, and “All in the Timing” as Phillip Glass. He is very excited to be in this show this year and wants to thank everyone who has made it possible throughout this time.
Stage Crew and Marketing Manager
Raven Hall is a junior and is participating backstage for this year's musical. She has been in this year's fall play at Morris Hills as the First Woman and was the composer for All in the Timing. Another production she has been a part of was outside of school as ensemble in a summer camp production of Evita. She participates backstage by managing marketing campaigns, taking pictures, and helping with the set. She is thrilled so see how the show came together and hopes it brings the joy of performance to everyone watching.

Rebecca Stocknoff is participating in her third production on the Morris Hills Stage. She has had the opportunity to be in the ensemble of "Fiddler On The Roof", have a supporting role in "The Little Mermaid", and Now be a Soloist and have supporting roles in "Songs For A New World". Rebecca participates in many choirs within the school and when times allowed, outside of school. She has been in Women's Chorale and Knights Templar for 4 years and Madrigals for 3 years. Outside of school Rebecca has been apart of the New Jersey Allstate Mixed Choir performing at Board Walk Hall and NJPAC. She also was apart of the International Honors Performance Series Mixed Choir, performing at Carnegie Hall under the conduction of Jeffery Ames. Rebecca wants to give a specials thanks to Mrs. Dollase for helping her prepare for all of these amazing opportunities and Mr. Dollase for expanding her Knowledge of acting. She'd also like to thank the directors for all of the hard work they put into each production making it so wonderful. Lastly, Rebecca would like to thank her friends, family and most importantly her Parents and sister for supporting her through all she had endured. Rebecca is excited to for this show!

Samantha is a senior participating in the cast for the first time on the Morris Hills Stage. She has previously been stage crew for Fiddler on the Roof, Charley's Aunt, Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Twelve Angry Jurors, and All in the Timing. Also, was a cast member in Radium Girls. The songs she is performing in is "A New World" and "Hear My Song" as an ensemble member. Samantha wants to thank the cast and crew for all of the memories.

Siri is a Senior participating in her last Spring Musical at Morris Hills. She was previously in "The Little Mermaid" as the mersister Atina and a Princess, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" as the dancer Panacea, and "Fiddler on the Roof" as Ensemble. Siri is also a member of the three co-curricular choirs at MHHS, the Women's Chorale, Knights Templar, and Madrigals. She was also a part of the 2019 and 2020 All State Treble Choir, 2018 and 2019 NJ Region Choir, and 2019 Morris Area Honor Choir. Outside of school, Siri has been learning Indian Classical vocal music for 12 years. Siri is sad that this is her last show, but she is super excited for everyone to see it this year, and gives thanks to the incredible cast, crew, and directors!

Sofia Lopez - Rodriguez (run crew) is a sophomore at Morris Hills. They were in run crew for All in the Timing. This is Sofia's first year in the Morris Hills theater, but they're happy they did the crew and helped out as much as possible and is so excited for the years to come in the theater department. They would like to thank their friends, family, and teachers who inspired them to join theater again. Sofia hopes you enjoy the show!

Prior to this production, Zoe was in 12 Angry Jurors (Juror #8), Orpheus and Eurydice (Eurydice), The Little Mermaid (Ensemble), All In The Timing (Swift), and Charley's Aunt (Brassett).
