A two-semester course. The second year focuses on refining present and past tenses in conversation, reading and writing. Emphasis is on the building of proficiency in speaking with grammar and vocabulary through the use of thematic units. Students have the opportunity to learn more about the culture of the Spanish-speaking world through the use of authentic texts, films and realia. Students will be able to discuss their thoughts and experiences through spoken and written language in the present and past tenses. Class is conducted in 90%+ Spanish.
