A two-semester course intended for students as a foundation and preparation for Spanish II. Students will learn basic conversational Spanish and basic grammar through listening, learning about culture, reading, speaking and presenting different aspects of the Spanish language within the Spanish I level. Vocabulary and grammar are taught in thematic units of school, activities for life, family, food, likes and dislikes, the environment, and skills needed for Spanish II. The class will be conducted in 75% Spanish moving to all Spanish by 2nd Semester.
