Meet the Team

Meet Anna Vierck!

Anna Vierck is a Speech Language Pathologist at the Early Childhood Center (including our 4K sites) and at the Primary Center. Anna has 15+ years of experience working within schools, clinics and community-based settings. She couldn’t imagine doing anything else!  The most-fulfilling part of her job is helping children grow their ability to communicate.  Anna lives in Mount Horeb with her husband, Doug, and 3 children, Evelyn, Amelia and Oliver. In her free time, Anna enjoys reading, traveling and yoga, as well as going on adventures with her family including hiking, camping, or relaxing in front of a fire.

Meet Linda Carlson!

Linda Carlson has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 25 years, and worked for MHASD for 20 of those years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and her Master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University. She chose speech therapy as her career because she loves working with children and helping them develop their communication skills. She lives in Middleton with her husband Keith, sons Gus (16) and Griffin (12), and their dogs Ollie and Boomer. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, running, and cooking/baking.

Meet Caitlin Katzman!

Caitlin Katzman is the Speech and Language Pathologist at the Intermediate Center. She has been a speech pathologist for the past 15 years and is starting her fourth year here in the Mount Horeb Area School District.  She is passionate about communication and inclusion.  She loves to be able to build relationships with many different learners throughout the school!  She has two children that also attend MHASD and in their free time they love to hike, camp, and swim.

Meet Maddy Braun!

Maddy Braun is the speech-language pathologist at the middle and high schools. She has been a school-based SLP since 2014, and has worked in Mount Horeb schools since 2016. She received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She had always been interested in health care and when she learned about the field of speech pathology during her first year in college, she was hooked pretty quickly. She loves working in the school setting because of the students that she gets to work with, their diverse needs, and the other staff she collaborate with daily. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family (including their Siberian Huskies) and friends. She likes to cook and travel and is working to improve my gardening skills.
