In an effort to reduce student distractions, both in-person and virtually, we are disabling the ability for students to install extensions. If a student has already added extensions, these will be disabled, unless they are on the approved list.
Extensions, in theory, can greatly benefit a user experience, but games and other things, can have the opposite effect. We want to help support you and ensure that technology is being used as a tool more than a toy for students.
Teachers, you will still be able to add extensions to their own account. IF there is an extension that you feel would benefit your students, you can submit a request.
