Downtown Mooresville

Richard's Coffee Shop was opened in 1995 by a man named Richard Warren. The coffee shop also has a military museum. It is a place for fellow veterans to gather, share stories, reflect, and drink coffee.

The Mooresville Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the history of the town of Mooresville. The museum has many artifacts from Mooresville's past.

This building was built in 1899! That means it is 120 years old. The owner, Jack Moore, has been working at the store for 70 years. The store sells tools, local honey, and many other goods.

The town hall is where the mayor's office is located. The mayor of Mooresville is Miles Atkins. He has been the mayor since 2011. The town hall is also where the Board of Commissioners meet twice a month.

Pelican's provides a very tasty good to the town of Mooresville. The Snoballs are made with shaved and a variety of different flavors can be added. The company was started in New Orleans and has over 130 locations.

The post office provides a service to our town. At the post office you can send mail or packages. Everyday the postal workers sort through tons of mail and make sure it goes to the right place. They also sell stamps that must go on every piece of mail.
