CREW LIST COMING SOON! Mr. Leichman is working on it!
Please note; sometimes students are disappointed by; the role they get or not being cast for a show. Mooresville HS Theatre tries to offer multiple opportunities to participate in our program, however, Mooresville is a very large school, and there are many variables that impact casting a production, including the parts that the show offers and the number of students auditioning. It is just not possible to give every student who auditions/applies for tech, an opportunity to work on every show. Students are encouraged to think of each audition as a learning experience, and each production they work on, no matter the size of the role, as a chance to grow, learn and be a part of the Mooresville HS Theatre community. Parents are encouraged to talk to their children about managing disappointment, but should not contact the directors to question the casting of their child.
If you did not get called back, it doesn't mean that you will not be cast. You all did a fabulous job! We will post the Cast List here on Nov. 9th and then on the bulletin board when we get back. The first rehearsal will tentatively be Friday next week.
PLEASE Look at the Scenes and Music for Your Character (Escapologist, we've added your song). We will meet in the Blackbox A168 at 2:30PM.

A Midsummer Night's Dream
by William Shakespeare, Adapted to 45 Minutes by Emily Klingman
We are setting our production in a Victorian-Gothic-Circus Forest. Join us for this magical comedy! What happens when fairies insert themselves into a love triangle? Or a Fairy Queen in enchanted to fall in love with a donkey-headed man? Or a group of amateur actors put on The Tragedy of Pyramus and Thisbe for the Duke on his wedding day? Love, magic, and hilarity ensue!
The Night Witches
by Rachel Bublitz
Produced with Special Permission by Dramatic Publishing
The Night Witches of the 588th Night Bomber Regiment flew in planes made of canvas and wood, and they dropped bombs on Germans every 15 minutes through the night to keep their enemy from sleeping. They were constantly being shuffled and moved to perform new duties; mechanics became navigators, navigators became pilots, and pilots became commanders. But when the time comes, to the sky they must go. Tonight, however, is different than any night they’ve faced before—their enemy has employed a new tactic taking them completely by surprise.
