Communication and Data storage
We will purchase the Xinabox XK07 kit which includes communication:
LoRa Radio at 915 MHz
CS11 Core with SD Card Interface.
We will also purchase a micro SD card to store data.
Computing and Payload
Hero 9 GoPro camera to capture images.
We will purchase the Xinabox XK07 kit which includes:
SG33 - VOC & ECO2 Sensor.
SI01 - IMU 9DoF - accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope
SL01 - UVA, UVB, Light Sensor
SW01 - Advanced Weather Sensor (temperature, pressure, relative humidity)
SN01 - GNSS Sensor (GPS)
Power
The Xinabox XK07 kit includes a PB04, a dual AA intelligent Battery Power Supply to power our XChips for monitoring .
Structure
We propose to 3D print the CubeSat structure using the Stratasys 3D printer and using ABS, Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene.
This is an Inventor isometric of the design with a “10” designed into the structure and inscribed with “BlueSky10” on the front right upper corner.
Launch
BlueSky10 will be launched and mounted to a DJI Inspire 2 Drone with a payload capacity of 9 lbs and will be remote controlled.
