Our Committees

Our committees are the heart of our organization. They support our mission, shape our events, and create opportunities for collaboration and leadership.

All members are welcome to join a committee.

Advocacy Committee

Works to support and promote world language education at the local, state, and national levels. The committee monitors policy, communicates with stakeholders, and provides resources to help members advocate for their programs and students.

Archives Committee

Maintains and preserves the organization’s historical records, documents, and materials. This committee ensures that important information and institutional knowledge are organized and accessible.

Coordinates recognition of outstanding educators, students, and programs, including managing nominations and selecting recipients.

Communication Committee

Oversees the financial health of the organization, including budgeting and financial planning.
