Dr. Michelle Mak
Dr. Michelle Mak graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree. She also holds a Doctor of Optometry degree with Dean’s Honours from the School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of Waterloo. During her externship at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Centre in Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Mak received advanced training in ocular therapeutics and ocular disease management.
Dr. Mak is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario and is licensed to prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents. She is also certified to fit orthokeratology lenses and MiSight contact lenses.
Dr. Mak is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and conversational Mandarin.
Dr. Hannah Yeung
Dr. Hannah Yeung completed her undergraduate Honours Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Waterloo and graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science with Dean’s Honours. She has completed an internship working alongside an ophthalmologist in Brantford managing glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease and retinal disease. She gained valuable experience interning at an optometric clinic specializing in dry eye and myopia control.
Dr. Yeung is licensed by the College of Optometrists of Ontario and a member of both the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. She is fluent in English and Cantonese.
Growing up in Markham, she looks forward to providing comprehensive eye exams to all ages within her community. She is passionate about patient education and believes it goes hand in hand with providing exceptional eyecare.
