Welcome to #METECH2022

The Metuchen Public Schools go to great lengths to integrate Social-Emotional Learning into our core curriculum over multiple years. It’s exciting that METECH 2022 is focused on SEL. With students, parents, and educators all part of the day, we hope you will come again – or join us for the first time. This symposium brings together educators and experts in the field, plus stakeholders from our communities – all partnering to improve teaching and learning with a focus on SEL. We look forward to virtually welcoming you to Metuchen and to learning right alongside you.

The MeTech Conference offers a wide range of choices for today’s educators and parents to learn and network with colleagues around best ways to leverage technology for student learning. Having so many workshops, strategies and new technological resources to choose from, presented all in one place, is really exciting. We are confident everyone who comes will leave with lots of new tricks up their sleeves, innovative new practices and the inspiration and energy to bring it all back to their districts, schools, colleagues, and most of all, to their students right away in the classroom. Welcome to the Metuchen Public Schools and Metech 2022! Education has predominantly (and rightfully) returned to an in-person setting. But the fresh infusion of technology incorporated into teaching and learning has been one of the shining lights of the pandemic. At the same time, we recognize the social and emotional support that staff and students need now, and always. I hope this symposium brings together two vital educational concepts in a way that helps us all do better.
